Another beautiful wedding since the pandemic but with a slightly different story. Shane and Tracey got in contact with me through Liz at Sea and Tree Weddings, a well organised wedding planning business. Shane and Tracey planned to have their wedding celebrated with all their friends and family but due to pandemic they were unable to organise their wedding to how they pictured it in their head. Enter Liz at Sea and Tree Weddings. Liz helped Shane and Tracey plan a ceremony that celebrated their love together. The ceremony was intimate and beautiful as there were no guests except for the afternoon beach goers. Shane and Tracey had their ceremony on the 18th September 2020 at Blueys Beach in Pacific Palms.

I first met up with Shane and Tracey in their private villa at Mobys Beachside Retreat about an hour or so before their ceremony. They were both so relaxed enjoying some drinks and chatting with Liz and I. Liz was there to support the couple in the preperation of their ceremony, fixing hair and fitting the bride into her dress where she needed the help. I took the time to photography some of the getting ready images that depicted their wedding day perfectly.

Time for the ceremony. We arrived at Blueys beach ready to celebrate a couple so in love. The weather was overcast but it didn't concern anyone. As I entered the path to Blueys beach I found Shane and Tracey taking a moment together overlooking the scenery. They are both from Deniquilin NSW which is inner state with no beaches so this outlook was a little different for them, they soaked it all in. Shane fixed a bit of Traceys hair and they begun their walk towards the beach. Their celebrant, Sarah, was waiting for them. Sarah was full of joy and excitement. Sarah lead the couple over to a position in front of the water to begin their ceremony. It was at this moment I realised I would be one of the witnesses for Shane and Tracey, what an honour! As we listened and laughed with Shane and Tracey through their ceremony we heard about their story together. There were some tears and alot of laughter as we listened to their vows. Sarah lead and absolutley memorable ceremony for the newlyweds.

We then made our way along the beach to grab some bridal images together to capture their love and remember the day by. As we walked along the tideline some tradies were enjoying their end-of-the-work-week beers on the lookout, they called out a few hoorahs for Shane and Tracey which gave us all a really good laugh. Shane wanted to play in the water and tried to convince Tracey with a quick splash here and there. Once we finished up on the beach we made our way back to the villa at Mobys Beachside Retreat where we took some images within the retreat grounds to capture their wedding holiday. Shane and Tracey moved back to their villa where they shared a celebratory glass of bubbly before their dinner reservation in Forster.
