I will always guide your family through posing and prompts during our time together. I want your images to feel organic and my gentle direction will help you feel comfortable enough to play and connect with one another. Let's capture the candid and the posed images of your and your family together.
What do we do if the weather is bad on our shoot date?
So it's decided to rain our shoot date? Not ideal at all. I usually send a quick text message earlier in the day to open communication for the afternoon ahead with you. If I believe the weather isn't worthy of pushing forward with your session, I will let you know. Most times I like to watch and see how the day plays out and then make a decision with you closer to our scheduled start time. If the decision is made to put off the photoshoot a list of reschedule dates will be offered to you to select from. Fingers crossed for better weather next time!
Do we need to bring any props?
Theres no need for you to bring anything along to the photoshoot other than yourselves! I love to provide all props to my families to help make the time together a little easier. My props are usually very minimal, being a couple of blankets to sit down on together. If you'd like to bring anything personal of yours to include, please do!
Do we need to know how to pose?
No way! Majority of time will be spent by play and prompt. I love to give little poses and prompts to you to do as a family. Letting you interact together as you normally would is the goal as I want to create images that are special and unique to you as family. Your children will likely rule the shoot and direct me in how we will operate during our time together - this is why play is so important! Lets keep them happy!
Location options...
Your photoshoot can to be done wherever your heart desires. Part of your booking includes my advice to help plan and pick out a location with you. This could be a location which I have access to, a public space or your own private property. I have a gorgeous country side property which I have access to in Branxton which you are welcome to come to for your photoshoot. If you have a private property of your own which you would prefer, I can come to you and if theres a public space that you're excited for, then we can meet up there.
Outfit guidance
I love to recommend a little guidance to my families regarding their choice in outfits. If possible, try and stick to neutral and earthy solid coloured pieces of clothing, avoid anything too bright and in your face. Try and avoid anything with big and bold logos on them so they don't cause any distraction in your images. Some inspiration is included below for you to look over. When you have chosen all your outfits out, lay them down and see if they look nice when put together.
How do we select our gallery images?
After our time together you can expect to receive an online selection gallery within 7 days (this usually comes much quicker). From this gallery you are able to sit as a family at home and select your images included within your chosen package. The images within this selection gallery are lightly edited to give you an idea of what to expect. All chosen images will be edited to a high professional standard as shown throughout my portfolio, this usually includes basic skin perfection and removal of any objects in the background that don't belong in the image. If you have any photoshop requests please let me know and I will advise if possible. Please note that I don't offer any body morphing editing. Your finished gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks of your selections being completed.

You will have the option to upgrade your gallery to receive all the images in the selection gallery for an extra $150. All upgraded galleries receive a custom USB sent to your postal address.
