That baby bubble that you and your family will be wrapped up in is so sweet and one of the most precious parts of your family journey. Photographing babies in their first few weeks is something special and I love taking the time to document the tiny details of your baby with your family together to remember this gorgeous time in your lives.
I promise to create a comfortable and enjoyable space for you and your family. I welcome you to be your most genuine selves in front of my camera, whether that looks like busy older siblings and getting the little moments in between or gentle calm of your first baby - it'll all be beautiful. Images full of connection and snuggles with your new little love are my final end goal. I want you to look over your images in the years to come and smile with warmth as you remember the sweet moments that were little baby.
Newborn sessions can take some extra time and that's okay. During our session, I expect baby will require settling, cuddles and possibly a feed. I will always guide your family through posing and prompts during our time together. I want your images to feel organic and my gentle direction will help you feel comfortable enough to connect with one another. Let's capture the candid and the posed images of your and your family together. Styling and location advice is included in all options with the ability to wear any of the pieces in my client closet collection.

Locations
Your photoshoot can to be done wherever your heart desires. Part of your booking includes my advice to help plan and pick out a location with you. This could be a location which I have access to, a public space or your own private property. I am always excited to photograph you and your family somewhere which is special to you and your loved ones.
The Process
Ready to book or organise something together? Send me a message or an email with some details of what you are wanting to have photographed. I'll send a list of available dates for you and your family. Once a date is organised, I will send a welcome email to you with all the details to secure your booking date with me.
I'll make contact before our organised date to double check all our details together. You will receive a small questionnaire to help me learn a little more about what you are wanting from me during our time together.
After your photo session you can expect to receive a preview gallery for your online viewing within 7 days. After this, you will receive your completed gallery within 4 weeks of your photoshoot date. These time frames are generous and allow for any extra time I might need to complete your gallery - most receive this galleries much sooner!
Styling
A variety of dresses are available to every mother to wear during the time of her session. I have a gallery showcasing the dresses available which will be sent to you upon booking. I'll prepare and clean each dress with every session. I will take care of the preparation and cleaning of each dress. A large selection of outfits are available for your baby to wear in sizes from tiny newborn to 18 months.
When Should I Book?
There is no exact time frame, I have captured baby's up until about ten weeks of age, it's never too late! Sometimes life gets in the way, those first couple of weeks is exhausting and the thought of fitting in a photography session may be the last thing you feel like doing.
Typically, I recommend scheduling your newborn baby photo shoot about 14 to 21 days after your due date. Once baby is born we then review your booked date and time for your newborn session and make any reschedules if needed.
5 to 14 days is the ideal age for a newborn portrait session as babies this age are pretty chilled, sleep most of the time and curl up easily in those gorgeous poses. Once baby hits two weeks old they tend to be more alert, and outgrow that fragile newborn look.
Babies older than 14 days are not so malleable and tiny. Slightly older babies are likely to be more alert and aware of their surroundings. So photo sessions with older babies can result in more ‘eyes open’ shots. These images show more personality of your baby. Whichever age you choose to photograph your newborn will be beautiful.
